Halloween is Similar to Internet Marketing

Happy Halloween, I hope you all had a safe and happy weekend but now it’s back to work.

I was thinking, after a few glasses of vino, that Halloween and  Internet Marketing has some  similarities, it’s scary!

So many marketers hide behind a mask and make believe that they are someone they are not. They use various aliases, like Mr. X, They shorten their last names or just use their last initial or a completely fake name.

I can see that this is done sometimes so that their competition cannot track down everything they are doing or stealing their specialized niche.

Quite Cialis Online Without Prescription often marketers, like Mark Twain did, will use a phony name or a pen name, which is totally legal, however if you want to connect to your audience you need to develop that trust.

Keep in mind that having a pen name doesn’t give you the right to call yourself Dr, Esquire or even Lord.

What do you have to hide? Take off your mask and let people know you, because once they know you they will respect you and once they respect and trust you they will but from you, but to get to this point you need to work at it.

It’s true that by using numerous pen names you can increase your seo ranking, but again there is always an issue of client trust.

However, if you are not using your real name you are taking away precious time for you to become a market expert. Your real name is not out there.

I understand that it helps to hide your strategy by using different names, but I think getting your self recognized as a  “brand name” is more advantageous.

Tricks Treats

Black Hat Methods                                               Increased awareness of your site/possibly more income

Hiding under a disguise/pen name                   Competition cant track, better chances of anonymity

Ethical Masking of identity                                 Others can’t track or steal your niches

Ethical Bribes                                                         Getting emails and contacts

Anyway, that’s my rant and I wanted to clear my thoughts.

Be safe and God Bless!
